WHAT IS ART CLAY???
Art Clay Silver is a water-based clay made of pure silver powder, water and an organic binder. The silver content is all
recycled from things like old film negatives and X-rays. It comes in many different forms that can all be used to craft your
own work of art- CLAY this is obviously a clay form, which looks and feels just like fine clay.
-PASTE this is a 'slip' or paste form which has more water added and can be used to paint onto
surfaces or to adhere pieces together
-SYRINGE TYPE this comes in a syringe and is used by pressing the end to extrude the clay
out in a long line. This type is amazing for writing (just like cake decorating!) or filigree style work.
Art Clay is also available in GOLD! Yes it is! It is available in Art Clay Copper also.

HOW DOES ART CLAY WORK?
As the name infers, the Art Clay is just like clay. You can mould it, roll it, texture it and shape it just like regular clay-
although when you imagine this, think smaller! Once the clay is dried it becomes hard, like plaster enabling you to carve,
file and sand it. You can add more clay to the dry pieces to embellish your work with sparkly cubic zirconias too! Even
when your Art Clay piece is dried it can be reconstituted to clay again with the addition of water, so no clay is wasted.
Once you are happy with your design and it is thoroughly dry, it goes into the kiln and is fired. Your fired piece comes out
of the kiln as a PURE SILVER, one of a kind, artwork of beauty, made by you!

WHAT CAN I MAKE WITH ART CLAY?
Whatever you can think of!! In my classes I guide you to create your own style piece. That means if you have a strong
idea of what you'd like to make- I'll help you figure out how to make it work. If you have NO idea what you want to make- I
have inspirational material and a lot of experience to help you figure that out.
The only restrictions on what you can to make is your creativity. You can make rings, earrings, brooches, bracelets,
pendants, charms, beads, keepsakes, memorial pieces, buttons, mini-sculptures, pocket charms...whatever you think of!
