The theme for my work for the graduate
exhibition is, 'recovery'.
I have used nature as a metaphor for the
growth we experience as we move through
the recovery process.
Regardless of the cause, the path of recovery
is a similar journey for us all. As we grow and
gain our strength, we share our courage and
our lessons with those around us.
It is a long and sometimes slow process and it
does not mean we forget, but that we resolve
to live on and be the best we can with respect
and dignity.
These three brooches are
made with all different metals
(copper,brass,silver,shibuichi)
and have the main focus as
my little glass creations.
They were so much fun to
make! Little Carlos the
ringtail possum has a new
home and so too does
Bluebelly the flying fox!
