| My focus for this exhibition was to explore those things that we keep away in the cupboard to only use on those 'special occasions'. The things that are 'too good' to use... like the good lace, or in my case beautiful Japanese origami paper. |

| This piece is called 'CONFUSION AND COMFORT' and for me represents the challenges that the 'fire-folk' are experiencing. There are some days that you feel big and shiny but others that you feel a bit rough or wobbly. I have included a wee Goddess bead, a bronze leaf, some bits upon bits, some smooth hollow beads, some twisted beads and some rough beads. Most of them are made with the 'Kinglake Bottle' glass and others are made with Moretti glass. |
